Description

We are excited to announce the launch the finest bolt handles available for the Tikka T3/T3x rifle line!

A bolt handle has been absent from our product line up for a couple years now.  We ceased selling other manufacturer’s handles because quality control was always hit or miss with their products.  The bolt handle is a critical component of the rifle system and is not something that should be taken lightly.

This is a product that we did not want to rush into manufacturing.  We tested all the available bolt handles on the market we could get our hands on to determine what features would most benefit shooters when operating the rifle.

Additionally, we wanted a bolt handle that would not only perform under all shooting conditions, but look aesthetically pleasing in the process.

The result is what you see here!

These Mountain Tactical Bolt Handles are designed to give you more control over your rifle.

The longer handle makes cycling the bolt easier allowing you to eject and chamber a round without taking your sights off your target.

A larger diameter bolt knob increases tactility making positive bolt manipulation while wearing gloves a more confident and safe action.

Of course, at the end of the day, they just look awesome!

Not sure which handle you want to choose?  No problem!  The austenitic stainless steel handle stem is thread with an industry standard 5/16-24 thread to accept other Mountain Tactical Bolt Knobs or other knobs from manufacturers such as Badger Ordnance, etc.  You can switch out knobs with ease.

Additional bolt knobs are available.

Well. I watched your video on youtube for replacing the bolt handle and it looks like it is not as simple as you make it out to be after going the two clicks taking the pressure off the spring the bolt handle does not want to come off. Are you supposed to use a punch and hammer to slide it out? ( John W Senuta, 23/07/2018 )

Hello John,

Sometimes the Tikka tolerances for the bolt assembly are kind of tight. It could be binding on the firing pin assembly slightly, so jiggle the assembly to make sure that's not the case. Really, the video DOES cover all you need to know. Sometimes it is just a matter of pulling in exactly the precise directions and maybe jiggling a little to make this work. If you have more problems with this, call the office and we will call you back to discuss further.

Thanks for the inquiry!
